Sun light in preview window in Iray

I have a small request for the developpers.

Would it be possible to view the way Iray's sun light would light a scene in the preview window?

Doesn't the Nvidia Iray preview mode do that? If that's overtaxing for your viewport use it in the Aux Viewport - even with my old 450 GTS card that draws fairly quickly, though not interactively (it reverts to smooth shaded while posing).
