Hello folks. I need to format my hard drive. I already saved all my downloaded files, but, correct me if I am wrong, when I will put them back on place, the DIM wont know that they are already installed and will show them again as dowloadable. So, how do I manage to save as well the information saved in the DIM? Thanks!

Go to Settings > Downloads in DIM, set the path to the folder with the downloaded files.
Got it, thanks!
But what if I checked the "delete package once installed"? Then he will go to download everything again, right? Even if I got those files already in DAZ. I just want t save time and have to not download all the product packeges since I saved all the folders from my DAZ library.
DIM keeps all the information about installed products in C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\DAZ 3D\InstallManager so you need to copy that directory.
Thank you!
I'd suggest also going to the Contnt Library pane, opening the option menu (lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) and selecting Content DB Maintenance, then checking Export User Data aand Accept. That will export a copy of your customisations to the \Runtime\Support folder in your first DAZ Studio content directory. If your back up fails, or fails to work correctly, you can use Content DB Maintenance on the new isntall, check Reimport Metadata, and get your customisations back. One potential advantage of this route is that it will work if the content directories are the same internally but located in a different place.
