Poser was working fine and then all of the sudden my laptop crashed with a Critical_Sturctuer_Error ...
I've restarted twice since then, but any attemps to load the save I've been working on since this morning refuses to load!
It crashes sometime during the loading and I've tried it like four times.
also, I wasnt' saving when I get the blue screen, it was some time before then.

The best thing I could say for something like this is try looking at file recovery-scanning utilities, particularly ones that can do something similar to scandisk. When you experience a crash, you may not have been saving, but the Poser software could have locked the file open so that no other program could make changes to it while you had it open. It sounds like when it crashed, whatever mechanism Poser uses to accomplish this wasn't able to mark the file as closed and now every time you try to open it, the program sees that it's still marked as being open and won't do that. You might want to try something like disk cleanup to get rid of any temp files, though I'm not sure if Poser uses them or not, or contact Smith Micro Technical support and see if they can add anything. it may take a while, but they do respond.
There is one other option that may be available to you if this is a windows 7 machine. If you right click on the file and go to properties, there is a tab called "Previous Versisons" Depending on your settings and whether or not it stored a previous version, you might be able to restore it from there.
