hiding part of a prop in Iray [SOLVED]

I'm attempting to set up a scene using the Woodgod for M4, or the hood/antlers at least. Now, there is a mat setting that hides the hood, mask and dreds and that works great in 3DL, but when I preview it in Iray all those parts are visible. I've tried setting all the hood, mask and dreds surface sliders to zero, but that didn't work. So my question is, Is there any way to hide these parts of the headpiece when rendering in Iray? Or am I going to have to kitbash a different set of headgear for this character?

Well. I'm a fool. That's the one thing I didn't try and it worked. :blank: Thank you.

No problem. Not sure if glossy weight or topcoat have an effect if Cutout Opacity is set to 0. I've been making sure everything is set to 0 to avoid strange glossy stuff that I've gotten in some other render engines with transparency settings.

They don't. It really is as if you hid the polys.
