Texture conversion V4 to G3/V7?

Hi, this is probably a stupid question but I haven't had time to use DAZ much lately, especially since the upgrade insists on not showing me the correct thumbnails in SmartContent and it's driving me bats - but with the arrival of V7, does anyone know if there's a way to use the V4 textures (of which I have MANY!) on V7? 3DU used to make texture converters - STEVE, any plans for V4 to V7? :D

No, there is no easy way to use them...and as far as automatic conversions, probably won't be one. It's not just that G3F uses a new UV method, but the figure has been totally remapped. Combining both of those makes it very difficult to come up with a method of transferring the maps without some sort of active user participation, because there are just too many details that would require an 'artistic' touch to come out looking good, let alone seam and alignment difficulties.
There are two manual methods that will work...using the V4 map in a 3D paint program as the 'source' and painting onto the G3F model. Or use a 'bake' method as described here...
