A Very Simple Question about Vicki 7/G3F

I just want to know if I *HAVE* upgrade to Daz Studio 4.8 just to use her or can I use still use Daz Studio 4.7 Pro. Because I prefer to render in Carrara 8 Pro since I’m a modeler at heart & I don’t think my Video Card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 670) can’t handle the IRay but the rest of my PC specs are Intel i7 with 32 RAM 64 Bit Win 7 Pro.

    You can upgrade to 4.8 and still not have to use iRay. In fact 3DL runs faster in 4.8 than 4.7, so all the more reason to upgrade if your PC is not very fast. There may be reasons to not upgrade 4.7->4.8, but having a lower spec computer is not one of them.

    It's more to do with the rigging of G3F 4.7 will have troubles with some of the bends they updated the rotation controls in 4.8 to fix it.

    If my 1 GB 440 and 430s can handle Iray, a 670 can do it, too...

    If you have a 2 GB card, then a moderate scene is possible...especially if you control your texture sizes.
