was wondering if can set it up as an external MyLibrary?

what happens to ds if external is on a flashdrive and the flashdrive isn't plugged in?

thanks :)

If it's completely external and you are using CMS, there will be some icons with the AWOL look to them...but if you aren't using CMS or don't really care, not really amuch of anything...she just won't be there.

Any content can be used in an external location as long as D|S and (if you use them) the CMS and DIM have been set to look at where you've put the files.

Yes, I don't have en "internal runtime" to speak of. I do however have 5 runtimes on an external hard drive. You will just have to go into the content directory manager and add it there, and everything will work as it should.

Yup, as long as that external runtime is mapped in DS it'll work just fine. Used to have 19 and never had issues :)

Yes, currently I have DS program in C hd, but all content in external disk U.

I recommend that you change the letter of the disc to the last in the alphabet to avoid unwanted change in rute when other device are connected/disconnected.
