Why why why can I STILL not find my installed products

This is getting very frustrating now Ive always had trouble finding stuff in DAZ studio most of the time i end up searching poser first that helps me track them down in DAZ studio. today i bought DAZ Studio Iray HDR Outdoor Environments and also iRadiance - HDRI Variety Pack One . i let the Download manager down load and install them.Now in DAZ studio I can not find them searches find nothing smart content is anything but .These 2 products are both from DimensionTheory and i have 4 other DimensionTheory products 2 sets of lights and 2 scene sets, those appear under scenes or lights DimensionTheory and then the products but I can find no other mention of DimensionTheory in the DAZ browser or where these files may have gone any Ideas?

    Hi,

    I own the DAZ Studio Iray HDR Interiors and DAZ Studio Iray HDR Outdoor Environments... both Show up in MyLibrary/Lights in my DS4.8 ... hope that helps.

    Thank you for that yes thats found them I can never understand why typing what i wish to find hardly ever turns anything up yet both poser and vue that i use a lot almost always find what you search for why does DAZ studio have so much trouble?

    You can always use DIM to see exactly where it has put any files it installed for you. Once installed find the product under the "Installed" tab, then click on the little arrow to the right, and select "Show Installed Files". I use this a lot, and for me is one of the prime advantages of using DIM. Alternatively you can open the installation zip, and the file structure tells you where stuff has been installed.

    Im even more confused now I downloaded the zip files to have a look they all appear to be just lights yet from the promos they looked like they backgrounds as well a nit like Monterey and urban recreation is this not the case?

    It's actually both lights and backgrounds, even though the icon is only labeled Light.

    The "Background" is an image that applies itself directly to the Dome that renders with IRAY if you turn the Dome one in the rendersettings...

    you'll only see it in the render or in the iray preview (but remember to turn on "draw dome")

    got there at last, I needed to turn on nvida iray in the draw option now I can see the background many thanks for the help people.
