Slow moving object

I've tried to compare two almost identical G2F outfits in DS (Day at the Mall and Casual Days for Belle 6). Just a scene with two base figures (V6) and then the outfits applied. I've noticed however that they behave very differently when using the Translate/Rotate dials - the one reacts immediately (practically real time) when spinning the dials, while the other (Casual Days) is very slow to react, which makes it very difficult to work with and position. It appears to be the leggings that slows things down on the slow one, no problems with the sweater.

I have looked at the meshes but it actually looks like the slow one has a much lower polygon count (is there a way to get the polygon count in DS?) than the fast one, which seems odd. So I wonder what can be causing this?

Hm, yes that seems to be it - turning it off fixes the problem. Thanks!

    Also check the subdivision level...

A higher SubD can slow down Smoothing even more.

OK, thanks. The Smoothing Iterations setting is also important it seems. Tried 200 and DS went into "not responding" mode so long that I decided to kill and restart it.

And InterActive Update also has to be turned on before Smoothing works it seems. Does InterActive Update also turn Subdivision on/off?
