Creating a new Tag in the gallery

I feel stupid not being able to create a new tag when uploading a new render.

Can you tell me how to do it. Thank you!

I couldn't figure it out either. It doesn't even give you a list of existing ones to choose from. You have to guess, and what shows up is confusing and redundant. The whole gallery update months ago is very frustrating to use. We lost so much functionality.
