Question on moving a zipped, compressed file

Morning all.

I have some files, many free, some music, that I have not unzipped. I am mostle interested in DAZ type files.

I am wondering if I can move these unzipped to another location without causing any harm to these unzipped files. 

I did read somewhere that moving them could cause harm/damage to them.

Zipped files are not directly referenced by anything except DIM, and that only for reinstalling, so yes you can safely move the zips.
