Love everyone's renders. I really like the new armpits and elbows, they look really natural. There are also lots of nice boobage shapes in the morph pack. What I don't like is the lower torso (hip area). It seems to lack detailing, although it bends more naturally than V6.

Here's my render done in 3Delight because I'm not yet comfortable using Iray (plus it takes a looong time to render even with a powerful rig).

Just how far can the expression morphs be pushed? Can she wrinkle her nose? Do wrinkles appear round her eyes when she smiles? I don't have the morphs yet and was just wondering what the capabilities were. An expressive face needs to look like it hasn't had extensive botox. Can someone do a series of renders that push her expressions a bit please?

    Very nice!

3Delight intrigues me too, I've not seen many renders done of V7 with it yet. What shader and lights did you use? I have experimented with UberSurface 2 but only have the basic G3F at the moment. I'm hoping someone does a new 3Delight shader for her.

Thanks! So far all of G3F's skins come with both Iray and 3Delight materials. The 3Delight mats are all SSS (which I don't like). I use a tweaked shader preset of the basic DAZ Skin shaders, no HSS (so the renders are quite fast).

For the lighting I use Uber Environment at 50% intensity, a main distant light at 40%, and a distant rim light at 80% (sometimes I'll add a specular fill light at 10-20%). I set the default occulsion and shadows on all of the lights to a lighter tone (82 78 75) and that helps my images look bright using 3Delight.

Will I ever get tired of giving v7 ridiculous facial expressions? Probably not. It's way too much fun.

You get better skin renders than most people, so I think you're going to be ok after you tweak the materials settings to your liking.

These are straight out-of-the-box renders with the default skin materials and using the same HDRI.

Ok here's my effort. V7 at the office...

The G2F elite ponytail fits quite well, but you seem to lose the tail morphs in the conversion process. Eyes are from Olympia 6 because I can't say i'm a huge fan of the eye textures that V7 comes with.

Sometimes with hair it is just easier to bring in the hair and parent it. You may have to scoot it around and make minor scale adjustments but once you do it you can save it out as a scene subset and reuse it again and again.

The shader used for 3Delight is the AoA one which I've never really got on with and it is getting a little long in the tooth. It almost seems like it's become a fire and forget shader next to the Iray ones just to make it look like 3Delight is still being catered for.

Mustakettu has a really nice shader and once she's perfected it and released it (as a freebie and not a store product), it will put 3Delight back as a viable render engine alongside, and not competing with, Iray.

I have tested it a lot with Gen6 and the results are really nice and it will probably, at some point, have MATs for G3F/V7

I came up with a very similar one, last night...it was so easy. And that one isn't really all that ridiculous. Whatever she's looking at is repulsively horrifying...

There are good things going on there, but, there still looks to be a little bit of botox face going on around the eyes and forehead. Maybe there will be some more HD morphs released that will remedy this.

Did you morph the face at all? If not then V7 is a dead ringer for Margot Robbie. Were the Olympia 6 eyes a straight swap? If that's the case then maybe Actual Eyes 4 will work too, that's something I shall try out with G3F.

Here is my attempt at an older woman using Genesis3 and the included textures. Hair is Harlow for G2F. This is Grandma after grandson broke a favorite figurine.

Rendered in 3Delight with V7 textures using omUberSurface. The hair is Hr-96 for V4 (by Ali) with textures by Wolfie. The uniform is Tentman's "Cure You Nurse Outfit" for G2F. I also used Actual Eyes 4 (MindVision G.D.S.).

how did you get Olympia 6's eyes there? I thought V7/Gen3 wouldn't take textures from Genesis 2?

While I'm loving Victoria 7's face, I'm not really happy with her skin. She seems very "yellow/orange" compared to DAZ's Genesis 2 characters (Belle was my fave skin). But your skin there looks fabulous. :) Is that iray or 3delight?

It will take them, where it messes up is that the old textures don't recognise Eye Moisture as being Eye Reflection. I suppose what you could do is make copies of all the .dufs that load the eye textures, open up the ones for the Eye Reflection in something like Notepad++ and tell it to point the Eye Reflection textures to Eye Moisture and then save it. I'm contemplating doing that with Actual Eyes 4, whilst secretly hoping that Mindvision GDS will release Actual Eyes 5.

Title: "You want ME? To go out with YOU?"
    Render Time: 2 hrs, 39 min, GPU+CPU

The outfit and hair in this render come with the G3F Starter Essentials.

This is my first Iray render using a human figure. I also learned how to tell DAZ not to use all of my CPU's cores. If you have a Core i7:

    Press CTRL+ALT+DEL
    Click on Task Manager
    Click the Processes tab
    Right-click on DAZ
    Select "Set Affinity"
    Uncheck the bottom two Cores

This will leave 2 cores open for you to multitask with while Iray uses your GPU and the rest of your CPU for rendering.

    The Story

The Warrior Queen couldn't believe the Court Jester had the audacity to ask her out.

I really like G3f so far.
Only had a chance to play with her at a friends place.

V7 and a mostly dialed in younger version with just a little bit of zbrush tweaking. Scaling messed her up a fair bit though :(
Still, I like her as a first experiment. Just noticed that nipples are on, which looks quite ridiculous, but cant re-render...oh well. and why are her eyes blurry, I didn´t even use DOF...is it because I saved the render as jpeg and not png?

Lray and stock shaders and textures and stuff.

That's a really excellent child morph! Better than any of the Daz official ones IMO. Only nitpick would be that the calves are a bit shapely.

    Compared to what?

Lot's of bike riding (not flat city streets...mountain biking), walking more than 50 yrds a day or swimming will give you kids with calves like that...
