Converting Characters: M4 to G8M?

I've scoured the store and cannot seem to find a conversion product to let me use an M4 character on G8M. I used Giacomo (https://www.daz3d.com/giacomo-for-michael-4-and-hiro-4) years ago and wanted to see if I could use him again. I'd rather use G8M. I saw some conversion products but they didn't go back far enough (that I could see) so I wondered if I overlooked the product.

If there isn't a product like that, is converting a character hard? I'd love some pointers if anyone is in the know about doing this and willing to give pointers to me.

    I don't believe there's any direct conversion from Generation 4 to Generation 8.

    Unfortunately, the developer of GenX passed away after creating the Genesis 3 expansion, and there's not much incentive for new developers to provide conversion support as far back as M4/V4 (it's old content, and GenX is already competition), so any such conversion needs at least two tools and steps to be done within DS.

    With that in mind, possibly your best option would actually be to use a wrapping program to wrap G8 to the M4 figure.

    Thank you for the update. I've been away and only just now read your note. I appreciate you taking the time. I'm not very talented in technical things (it takes a while for me to catch on lately) so I'm a bit intimidated with the idea of using a wrapping program. I've never heard of such a thing. I'll try to get up the nerve to look into it further.

    I was not aware that the individual died. I'm very sorry for the family's loss.
