Probably Eternal Kyra by Fabiana at Rendo.

Did you get this hair to work in DAZ Studio? I noticed in the comments on the product page over at Rendo that someone mentioned having to use textures from a different hair product. The pairing of this hair with Simona is perfect for what I have in mind, but I've not used Poser content in Daz before. Any insights or help would certainly be appreciated!

Eternal Kyra works pretty well in DS, though as the materials are made for poser you may need to adjust them a bit.

As for the comment, do you mean the person who said you need to edit the material files? That was true at the time but not anymore. The materials included are in mc6 format, and DS didn't display those kind of files in its library at the time, but current versions do show them (in the "Materials" category in your Poser content directory).

Come to think of it, I don't think I actually bought it.  I think I bought a different one, when I saw that it didn't have DS support.  But I notice now, that there's an expansion for it called Touchable Eternal Kyra; which seems to work in DS3 and 4.  If an expansion for it works in DS, then the original product is bound to.

Unsolicited Off Site Commercial link removed

So, while I didn't buy it then, I probably will in the near future.

Yes, it does work in DS. I have the original and Dawn version, and used them in DS3 and 4. But as with most content intended for Poser some materials do not give the same results as in Poser, so you need to edit the surface settings sometimes.

Thank you Leana and Whitewolf for the info. Leana, could you elaborate a bit more regarding what might need editing in the surface settings? I'm still at the shallow end of the Daz pool. :-)

Sorry, I totally missed your answer...

Usually the two main things you might need to adjust are glossiness (to control the highlights), and bump strength and/or min and max values.

And if the poser materials includes a specular or displacement map you will need to apply those yourself in the surface tab as DS can't read those informations from a poser file.
