3rd Party content library manager
Did some searching on the site and forums, but couldn't seem to find anything definitive...
Is there a tool (for both Windows & Mac, as I work on both) that can manage (install, uninstall, etc.) 3rd party 3d content in the DAZ 3D library - similar to DIM - but for content sourced from other vendors/sites?
I have so much content from RDNA, R'osity, etc. that I would love to be able add/remove as needed easily.

Don't think there are content managers for those other sites you mention. The other vendor sites would need to create their own content management to install or remove items from your Daz directory folder. For now you will have to manually add or remove contents from that directory folder.
Sort of? I have a python script that I wrote for turning zips from various sources into zips and metadata that DIM will recognize if you copy the results to the InstallManager/Downloads folder. I've only tested it on OS X, but it should work with any python install.

I'm sure this is entirely un-kosher as far as DAZ3D is concerned, but it works for me.
There's also a Windows exe out there that does essentially the same thing, but I don't have a link handy at the moment.
Fantastic! I love the idea. I'll give this a try. If you have any updates, etc. I'd love to see them.

I started working on such a project a few years ago because, like so many of us, my content library had gotten completely out of control. My issues weren't so much installing/uninstalling; they were more, 'what do I have, and where the hell is it!?'
When I started, I was mostly concerned with Poser content, because that's what I used. Then, as I got more into using Studio, my content started moving more in that direction, as well. Then DIM came along, and Smart Content, and now, I'm in the middle of a complete re-tooling of my application.
The screens are still usable; it's the code behind those screens that needs a complete overhaul, to add the functionality that I didn't think I'd need when I started, but have become essential, now that the 'state of the art' has leapfrogged so far ahead of me!
