Daz Studio, Iray, and External GPU boxes

Anybody have any experience with this? I've read that people who use Iray rendering with Max and Maya have used external GPUs for additional render muscle. Has this been attempted with Iray in Daz Studio?

    We did have some testing with this type of arrangement.

    Some key points to keep in mind:
    1. Make sure your external box has adequate power.
    2. Make sure your external box is properly grounded.
    3. Make sure your external box is properly cooled.
