educational versions of 3DS Max and Maya

I am trying to get the latest educational version of 3DS Max.  I am trying to practice with it for now.  I am pretty sure I can use that software to make renders for my class.  Right now I am using my hotspot and I fear that the download of 3DS Max is too large for my cell phone service provider's use of my hotspot.  I don't know if I already licensed it or not, but I am not seeing any way to license it and download later.

Not sure if I need to contact Autodesk, but trying to figure out what I can do with those renders.  I know I can use it for the presentations in my classes, but I don't know if I can post them on the forums and art gallery.

    Just noticed the Maya part of the forum.  I am planning on downloading the educational version of Maya.  I don't know much about Maya.  I am also wondering if I can post renders in the forums and also the Daz gallery?
