Universal Weapons Prop Doesn't Iray Preview

I'm trying to use this https://www.daz3d.com/the-universal-weapons-prop-and-poses-for-genesis-3-and-8 ;

It doesn't Iray Preview and I don't know why.

This is why I don't buy Daz products anymore.

    The Universal Weapons prop is not meant to be seen, but to hold the real weapon of choice, like the included light sab-, er, laser sword. "Visible in Render" (Parameters -> Display) is set to OFF by default, so if you really want to see it set it ON.

    Oh, excellent, that explains it perfectly, thank you. I've never had a product that works that way, but now I understand.
