    QUBE GAMES

That's my little quberino's, our month of six sided debauchery must draw to a close. Thank you once again to Daz3d for sponsoring this competition, to my loyal sidekick @Linwelly for helping patrol these dangerous games, and a special thanks to all of you who took part. Every one of your submissions holds a special place in my dark, frosty heart, and if I had my way, you'd all be winners. Alas, this is a competition, and the victors will be declared soon.

Sheath your swords and monitor the airwaves, we will return with news soon (Probably tomorrow, it's laundry day today)

As the Qube dips below the horizon of April, we bid adieu to our Qube Render Competition. Just because the competition is over, it doesn't mean we have to stop rendering the Qube.
    (Not an Entry,of course)

  • How do you even 'judge' something like this?  All of the entries were quite entertaining to see.  A very creative bunch that knows how to think outside of the qube!

Maybe just put all the participants names in a qube and pull one out!

I agree. I was just warming up. Cubes forever!

    Beautiful render, Barbult!

I like this idea 'cause it's about the only way I'd ever win a competition in here ;-)

This was billed as a "competition", not a lottery. Random selection makes no sense in that context.

Too late for the competition -- it would appear that um, nature?, has a few Qubes too!!! And they must have been super special 'cause as soon as they appeared, everybody decided to do maintenance on the cameras. At least 2, maybe more ... fun stuff :-)

    Qube Games

It's time to announce the winners of the 2022 Qube Games. Over the past month we have witnessed a pitched battle between friends, family, loved ones and foes, all competing for the grandest and most coveted of prizes … Daz store credit.

Me and welly both drew a shortlist of around 10 entries each, and whittling them down to just three was incredibly tough. Everyone brought something valuable to the table, and I thank you all sincerely for doing so. Without further ado, it's time for the winners to take to their podiums.

    WINNERS

    1ST PLACE (@Ioonrxoon2) Qubetans

Ioonrxoon2 posted several great renders that I really enjoyed, and clearly embraced the competition from the start. Qubetans is a simple, well crafted render that embraces the simplicity and whackiness of the competition, and thus deserves the crown. Well done Ioonrxoon2, please invest your proceeds in an easier to type screen-name.

    2ND PLACE (@Cupcake) Qubella

    *Hot*

    3RD PLACE (@Spew) X95A

This is one of wellys favourites, and I totally agree. Great concept, well executed and totally deserving of a podium spot. I brief yet somber glance into the dystopian future of qubes.

    HONORABLE MENTIONS

    (@Barbult) Qube Cafe

Barbult posted several neat images, embraced the competition, and kept posting images even after the competition had expired. Some may consider that foolish, others may think it cheating, but I think it's exactly the kind of dedication Qube industries desires. Well done Barbult.

(@Luci45) Crystal Qubes from a secret dwarven mine

Luci45 kept posting quality renders throughout this competition, faithfully serving the Qube nation. Service guarantees citizenship, well done luci.

    (@Stezza) ChickenQubed

Stezza is another faithful thread denizen, keeping the competition greased and lubricated with several quality submissions. Thanks chief.

    In Closing

...And so we must now draw a close to the 2022 Qube games. This one was rough to score, as we had a veriety of awesome submissions, ranging from square wheeled cars, to uncharted tomb raiding, to intergalactic warzones and so much more. If I hadn't invested all of my money in Qubecoin, you'd all be receiving a prize. To the winners, i will be contacting you shortly about your prizes, and your thousand year Qube contracts.

Until next time, stay frosty, and never forget our six sided friends.

Sir Quinton Qubington, Bsc. (Bronze swimming certificate)

Congrats to the winners! While I didn't have time to participate, I really enjoyed seeing the entries. Just goes to show, there are some very creative minds in this community, and it warms my 3D heart to see users going beyond plug and play assets to come up with great render ideas.

Big thanks to kindredarts and linwelly for hosting it.
