have I lost this scene?

Tried to open a daz scene but it would not open and kept coming up with a message that said: "an error occured while reading the file, see the log file for more details."
I am thinking maybe its somehow corrupted but there is no info of it other than just the above. So basically have I lost it?

    Probably, but if it is a scene that used LAMH, the PA who created LAMH may be able to help you recover it. There is some kind of a bug that causes scenes with LAMH to not open some times. If it is an LAMH scene, post in the LAMH commercial thread for help.

    I once had a just saved scene crashing DS (4.15 something I think) when trying to reopen it.  It would open fine in an older DS version though.  Rather strange.
