Real Life Body Tracking for Digital Design

I'm sure there's a thread somewhere about this, however, I don't know the wording to find it online, so I figured I'd ask. I think it would be super cool if there was a machine or "glove" if you will that you could put on and link to the computer that would track your movements. I know that something like this exist for the gaming companies since they use it all the time. But I would love a smaller version of it to use at home, even if it cost a couple hundred dollars (Like $400+) While I might not be quite as skilled as I could be to be buying products like this, it would just be awesome to have and to toy with. 

Does anyknow know the wording to look something like this up online, or perhaps what the name of the product is or something?
