DAZ Render Commercial Use?

Hey there, I'm new to DAZ and am looking to delve deeper into this 3D stuff. No, my question isn't talking about making a game. I'm a digital artist and was wondering if I could sell the renders (finished pictures of a character) for money? For example, if someone were to commission me making a picture and I used DAZ software and DAZ store models in the photo, would that be 'legal', would I need the Indie game license, or is this off-limits completely?

Also, if I just made renders for personal use but uploaded them online, would I need to credit every artist/modeler/whatever because I used their models?

Any help appreciated- thanks! ^^

With DAZ Store purchased items...yes, you could sell prints of your renders. There are several regulars here on the forums that are successful cover artists.

And, again, for store items, no further credit is needed.

Now when you delve into the world of freebies (not the DAZ ones, other ones...made by other folks like myself) there is a wide variety of licenses/ToS. Myself, I don't see much sense in putting restrictions on what you can do with what I make available...within reason...meaning no redistribution of the actual mesh/texture/etc, but what you render with my stuff...if you can get money for it, no problem. But not everyone is like that. There is also the commonsense non-comm use for 'fan art' items...don't try to make money from an Elsa morph, unless you want to get nice and cozy with Disney lawyers.

Yes. There have been more "non-commercial only" freebies lately, so always double-check readmes or TOS's on ShareCG or other sites. I don't even download those because I actually have used freebies in my promo art here in the store, and I don't want them mixed up. There are maybe two non-c's I keep for just-for-fun renders, and I keep them carefully separate.
