I pressed control 0, and now my model is rendering on the spot.

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Its like there is always the final renderd model on screen. And it re renders every time I move it. How do I turn this off?

    Sounds like you have Iray preview turned on. Select another type of preview such as texture shaded.

    Ctrl 9 will take you back to Texture Shaded draw style in the viewport.
