Rocketeer Figure - Does it exist?

Does anybody remember if there were Daz figures based on the old Rocketeer or Commando Cody type of "rocket ranger"? I vaguely recall a group of them being for sale here years ago, but I don't know if they exist anymore.

Or does anybody know where figures like those might be found?

    The only thing I know of is this which is very different. The Rocketeer is a character that is copyrighted by Dave Stevens.

    There was a steampunk sorta airship pilot outfit for A3 but I can't remember what it's called..

    Yes, I know that the Rocketeer is copyrighted by the late Dave Stevens.

    That's why I asked for a Rocketeer TYPE of figure. Or a Commando Cody TYPE of figure.

    Basically a guy with a rocket strapped to his back.

    I recall that Daz had figures like that years ago. I was wondering if anybody remembered them or knew where they could be found.

    While I don't know of the outfit you're looking for, there are a few options in the store. I thought I'd post them and maybe you'll get some ideas for the outfit you want to make.

    This has a nice outfit and a machine strapped to his back, but it's not a rocket.

    This is a rocket. If you change the textures or use a shader on it, it could easily change from 'junkyard rocket' to something more polished.

    With some kitbashing you could probably use these or others you find to make something similar to what you're looking for.
    Is there a particular generation of figure you need it for?

    Sadly, no. There is an alarmingly small set of jetpacks available (the latest is the excellent, retro-scifi superhero set "Little Heroes" for the Toon Generations, but I doubt that would help you.

    KurioKama had a very similar set at Rendo (as well as jetpack-equipped, third reich super soldiers), but it's been gone for awhile. There's a couple of jetpacks for V4 (but without the chest straps) at RDNA:

    JoeQuick had a retro superhero set on sharing that had the jacket and I *think* the jodhpurs.

    There was a "Space Cadet" set by Xena that had a similar helmet and jacket, but that was at Poser Pros and it was a very long time ago. :down:

    The Daedalus sets (and Rudi, which I think Fisty was thinking of) here for the G3 crowd have similar stylings, but again, probably not what you're after.
