    I am making cake and cupcakes.  I only have two six count cupcake pans but the mix says it is good for 24 cupcakes.  I made a dozen cupcakes and put the rest in a round pan.   I didn't feel like it was enough for the pan so I took my jiffy yellow cake mix and mixed it up and added it to the chocolate cake mix.  Hopefully it will be a good idea?

    Well, a simpler idea woul have been to put the excess in the refridgerator while the first batch bakes. Then use it bake a second batch with the same pans

    oops I didn't think of that.

    Not sure if you heard, but Ms. Nichols had died.

    ...oh no.  I loved the fact she went on to work promoting NASA ad space exploration.

    Walter Koenig, DeForest Kelly, Leonard Nimoy, and James Doohan, and now Nichelle, icons of my youth, now all gone.

    That leaves just George Takei. and William Shatner as the remaining "core" crewmembers.

    Always loved that scene with her from The Search for Spock where she deals with "Mr. Adventure".

    There is a "d" at the end of "frigid" but none in refrigerator.  Took me decades to learn that.indecision

    I haven't slept. I've been trying to level the bed on the 3D Printer. I had to do something. I felt like it was sat there, mocking me. Along with that "voice" inside my head that says, "you're crap at everything", "you'll fail", "it'll burst into flames if you touch it", and all of that other "wonderful" stuff *rolls eyes* :/

    At least I got around to sort out my TCG albums while it was printing. I think I'll start adding stuff to my new HDD.

    Oop... I'm hallucinating bugs again.

    Hello, Karma... smiley

    I tried making sloppy joes but I made it too runny somehow, as I feel like I don't know what I'm doing,

    Yep.  I think she threw out the cutting board too.  Either that or hid it in a place I can't think of.  I think she has issues but blames me for them.  I am trying to reach out to someone who can help.  There are several who can help.

    I found a movie on Freevee (Amazon) that looks like it was made in Daz Studio or Poser.  But it doesn't look like they mastered animation in the software.

    Edit a bizarre HDMI error stopped me from watching it.

    I just found out year for the truck I had bought and wanted to use in a graphic novel or web graphic novel.  The truck  was based on a real truckmade in 2007, but the story starts in January 2005.  oops!

    If it's that accurate a model, I'd check the license usage... like if it's specifically (for example) supposed to be a 2007 Ford F-750 Super Duty with a 20' cargo box, and it's not officially licensed from Ford with specific commercial use rights spelled, I'd be cautious about using it in any possible commercial situation.

    There are some great looking, highly detailed and incredibly accurate models out there, but often they are not for commercial use or do not specifiy whether the creator held any intellectual property rights for said model's distribution.

    In the past this was a huge reason to buy content from DAZ because direct copies of real world vehicles (or products) was not allowed, or at least encouraged... granted they could look similar-ish, but they definitely weren't named the same, which is why they all had weird names like "American Sports Car" and stuff like that, instead of being called "1960 Chevrolet Corvette"... (video games like Grand Theft Auto do that too to avoid licensing issues, the cars are like 70% the same, but distinctly different enough that it's legally not a problem)... But this made DAZ content a safe bet, because it was 99% commercial use safe.

    This issue highlights my skepticism about the new "editorial" licenses that will be offered from DAZ... even long time users could put themselves in a bind by accidentally or unwittingly using the wrong model license for use in a commercial project… especially if DAZ doesn’t go out of the way to categorize and very obviously label Non-Commercial use content.

    Recently it was announced DAZ might make non-commercial usage models available for sale and so far, it’s not clear how they will implement clarification of the licensing use… hopefully it will be something very obvious on the item’s sales page, with a link to explicit plain talk explanations of the usage rights for everyone to read and understand.

    That said… no, I don’t still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny... it's Krampus and Drülgruth the NeoRabbit (bringer of colorful eggs and despair).

    Anyway, if it's a freebie or from somewhere else, it's a good idea to check the license info.

    Also... seriously... FOUR server freeze ups in fifteen minutes... watdahell man?

    Complaint... I just came back from California and in the few days that nobody was near my work desk, spiders took it over... like seriously took it over... I'm pretty sure they have been using some of my tools to build stuff... mostly on a pre-industrial level, but still it's disturbing.

    Also... a question for Californians...

    Everyone is mostly so chill and laid back there, but what the hell is up with your damn crayfish?
    It's like they are all on meth and crack... I've never seen such belligerent earth crustaceans in my life.

    Also, also... Is DAZ going for a new record with Bad Gateway Errors?

    Depending on where in California you were it's quite possible they were on drugs.

    You should get one of those rats you wear under a chef's hat, like in that documentary Ratatouille... they help you cook and come up with marvelous new dishes... if you don't mind rat hair and a little bit of rat feces in your food they are a great kitchen accessory... rat poops are kinda trendy at the moment in foodie circles too.

    Why?

    A super-toxic relative of mine decided to start a fight in a car park, with a man who was his best friend at school. As if punching the guy wasn't bad enough, he's walking around and acting like he's proud of what he's done...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    A week on, and I'm still struggling to level the bed of my printer. It shouldn't be this hard. My nerves and muscles are shot, so I can't tell if the paper is "snagging" on the nozzle.
    First print was (mostly) a success. There were a couple of defects caused by the printer moving onto the next level of  the print. But, I got a rabbit.
    Now the PLA won't adhere to the bed, and it's coming out stringy. I didn't sleep last night as I was trying to fix it. But I didn't get anywhere
    I really feel useless, and  that I want to give up on this.
    On the plus side of things. I'm finally moving all content from CD-Rs on to a HDD. I just hope 1TB is going to be enough. Hopefully, it'll free up some shelf space too.
    I hate being forced into writing feedback.
    Complaint and non-complaint:   Gave the New and Improved  DAZ-to-C4D  Bridge a try,  installing it was a breeze (The last version wasn't. InstallManager/Central was of no help and things had to be done by hand and the script inside D|S wouldn't load on its own so it had to be opened up by hand every time I launched the program)  and then went to test a handful of models at random, ranging from 'old' to 'somewhat old' to 'Dragon 3'.
    Results were somewhat mixed but the process was *mostly* smoother than it had been in the past.  I hadn't tried any human figurines yet, which the past Bridges were either uncomplaint with or absolutely said HECC NO to when I tried to use it with.
    There didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to when things worked and when they didn't though.  The usual weighting issues were present on most models except the Dragon 3, which ironically was the only one to have the joint axes be universally directed in the same fashion (A long standing bug with the Bridge and a massive pain, but not as bad as the weighting issues)  and only half of the models imported with Morphs despite selecting them before hand.  Only two attempts at multi-part exports were attempted - one refused to do so, the other came in just fine.
    So,  progress but also not progress - but steps are being made and that makes me happi.  If they can keep being made then I'd be very, very happy!
    I am trying to make a recipe for a mustard sauce from memory. I tasted it and it seems good, I think I'm missing a few ingredients but I don't know what?
    maybe it is vinager or sugar?  I do have some stevia, though.
    They let the hamster go on vacation and the replacement doesn't have the stamina to run long, before he needs to take a break for 'beverages'...
    Complaint:  For the thrird time in about two months, I've got that bug again that causes fever, sweats, chills, sluggishness, and frequent unrination but only a few drops at a time instead of quarts.  And I'm zooming my way through Kleenex boxes scattered around the house.  Not a happy camper.sad  I have only been to the grocery store in the last couple weeks.  If I start growing a prehensil tail and fur I'll let you know.frown
