I'm never going to live that down am I. You people do realize that cute is a four letter word right?! O_o lol
Thanks!
It's nice to get some feedback now and then, especially since my "engagement" at the different gallery sites has really fallen off in the last few years (not that I had a lot to start with).
@Saphirewild, I really like the diversity in figures and content that you use and the fact that you use both newer and older content. I also like your frequent use of animals.
I'd really like to use animals to add more life to my work but I'm impatient and get burned out on my ideas quickly, so most of my enthusiasm goes into the main figure and the scenery/background tends to be quick and a bit lacking in comparison.
I should really sit on my images for a bit before calling them done so I can cool off and then take a second look at them. lol Of course they might not get finished then.
Decided to try and improve my understanding of composition and then implement what I learned. I give it a pass and a fail. The last image has all the elements I wanted but it doesn't quite work, A3 is supposes to be the star but she's being upstaged by the birds hence the other images.

Interesting stuff! A few thoughts: I find the bird too dark, would prefer to see more of it lit by direct light. And Aiko's dress could be whiter? To add more contrast? And there's something confusing about transparency and the bird tail, which my brain struggles to grasp. Maybe use translucency instead of opacity?

Tried to see if I could kick my skin settings up a notch. Messed around with the Uber Human Surface shader, witch I've been using for years, for a few hours and was only able to make an almost unnoticeable improvement. So then I decided to make a serous effort at learning to use the AoA SSS shader, unintentionally ended up with something that looks almost the same. Not sure if ether one is better than the other, they both seam to have good and bad points.

I can certainly answer that great question @Ethin, I just love how you think outside the box with your characters.
They are so unique and yes they are cute to boot!!
I would love to know what you think of some of my artwork as well, if you got the time to check them out!!

More Iray/Gen8sis training, or something like that.
Couldn't decide which hair/personality I liked best.
Testing out an Iray preset for Generation 3 on Aiko3.
Sweet Sway
A bit late but love should be celebrated all year not just for one day. Also I may have gotten a bit carried away.
