Okay, it doesn't work, but you should see it as the thought that counts...

Its only the price on the sale page that is wrong but if you put the item in your cart it has 81% discount.

    They meant well I'm sure.

Technically the complaint was that only 36% of sales were at a time convinient for Europe while 100% were at a time convinient for the US, and I think they have tried to make is better my startng them earlier more often. All good!

... but some people are never happy. This one was accessible throughout the US. Worst case was PST where if finished at 9:00 AM. I think it's better, but a long way from fair. No system where 100% of sales are accessible in one specific region can be fair unless the sales are longer.

    Sorry laugh

...but I am no longer complaining. I just don't buy anything much now. The 3 AM gift cards sale was the final straw for me smiley I've not managed to spend my $18 PC+ coupon for 2 months now. I feel like a recovered addict, I feel great smiley

Seems like they ran two flash sales one after another which happily enough I actually managed to catch the latter (the one running right now) and got the sea villain bundle. It may not have been the cheapest ever but 78% off is good enough. I've been away most of the day and only just now got home. I can't blame Daz if it is me who has been away during suitable hours (it's 10 pm here).

That being said... I stopped counting the $$$ I have spent this month as the numbers are dangerously high. Now it's just using up this latest $55 gift card (it's almost gone, too).

i counted it, and just the fact I felt I could do that is telling! Last year I wouldn't want to know. It was just under $60. That was almost exclusively the $1.99 items. Aside from those it was $25 so I guess that's now a typical month's spend.

it used to be 10x that. So no complaints. On the contrary! smiley

(I didn't include the Daz+ renewal, which I still think will be worth having - we shall see if I am right about that... Even with that it's only about $100.)

There is a sale now. Maybe I will even buy something!

For people that miss it, I hope you get a chance later smiley

Oh wait... it's gone. A mistake I suppose. And there was an 80% off for some customers last night. But not for me because at 1 AM I am asleep..,

    Never mind...

Again judging from ATI they started a series of three flash sales around midnight my time (9 hours ago, well actually it was 23:20) of which last one ended at 9 am (10 minutes ago) - and I just got up like 5 minutes ago. Let's see if there will be any during EU hours. Any bets?

Also the first flash sale was 80% off deal aka "hugedeal"

Edit: Granted they did run one of those during EU evening as well. The "buy four items to get 65% off dealy" which arguably was the worst of the patch but at least it was a sale.

Judging from the last two weeks it seems they like to start with those up to 65% off when you buy new product or x amount of products dealies and then progress to 70-80% off deals during night or if they are running just 65% off deals they start with buy four to get the deal and then switch to 65% off for one select item/buy a new product deal. Finally it seems like most sales are run starting around wednesday/thursday border (or wednesday afternoon/evening for US folks I guess)

The last flash sale of the night is usually always the best regardless of how many they run. For longer streaks it's the one ending around midnight MDT which is, I guess, when the new promos roll out. Last night's was exception because the best US-time deal was the first (and of the four run the best was the second deal).

This because there were (afaik) no stacking promo discounts going for those 65% off deals which is something you have to consider as well so it's not so clear cut as to which is actually the best. It depends if there are other promotions running at the same time and if the deal stacks with them.

Edit2: Keep in mind that this is just from last two weeks so take the comment "seems like the last one is the best" with a grain of salt.

i think that's pretty standard. If Europe gets sales, they are mostly the worst ones, as they tend to get better as they approach 7 AM, then they stop as the UK wakes up.

A nice touch last night was that the last sale was only 3 hours. Why have a four hour sale? The UK might have an hour to access that, and we must be excluded. Or that's how it felt to me.,,
