Help - Lost an entire Daz Runtime Library - SOLVED
Hello,
I have just run the Re-Import Metadata option for Daz Studio and now it seems that I have lost an entire Daz Runtime Library. The way that my system was set up was that I had everything on an external hard drive with 2 separate runtime libraries separated by where I purchased different products (i.e. Daz purchases in one and everything else in the other). After running the re-import metadata option I tried to open a file and got a message that many files couldn't be found. I opened up file explorer only to find one of the runtime libraries was no longer listed in the file directory, however it seems that the files are taking up space since the used space seems to indicate that drive space is being used. Any suggestions on what has happened and what I can do about it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

When you say it's not listed, do you mean in DS or on the drive?
If it's in DS, check that the letter assigned to the drive has not changed from what you have in DS preferences.
Hi Lean,
It's not showing up on the drive.
Import of metadata will not change the actual files, so something else must have happened.
You haven't accidently dragged the other folder into the first, so you have nested folders?
felis,
I hadn't actually opened the file explorer until Daz Studio indicated that there was a problem but I will do a file search to see it that has somehow happened. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well it seems that felis was correct and the runtime folder had somehow been buried several layers deep in another folder on the hard drive. I'm not sure why that happened but I am very glad to have found everything intact. So heart attack averted!
Thanks to both felis and Leana for their help. It is greatly appreciated.
