Does Genesis 2 Alive! require aniMate 2?

Greetings,
I'm very tempted by Genesis 2 Alive! but I don't have aniMate 2; do I need it? What won't I be able to do, given that I don't have it?

    No, only aniMate Lite which is included standard within DAZ Studio.
