    Thanks for you help man...

Listen Maybe someone can help with this one....

I bought a package for gen 2 female over at Renderosity It contained 3 zip files :

File#1. OOT Hotdress 15209 4 Files in this one:

DATA > outoftouch>HotDress>Hotdress>with two folders Morphs UV Sets So DATA has 5 files

    PEOPLE>Genesis 2 Female

    Runtime>Textures>outotouch>hotdress

    DOCUMENTATION FILE

    2. Second Zip file: OOT Hotdress PoserCF 15549 containing two files Documentation and
RUNTIME>libraries>with 2 files: CHARACTER with files in them and MATERIALS with files in them

    3. Third Zip file OOT hotdress templates 15460

    Here was the installation info:
    01 Load Genesis 2 Female.
02 Go to People -> Genesis 2 Female -> Clothing -> OOT HOT Dress.
03 Load and conform the clothing items to Genesis 2 Female.

04 Material Presets are located in "MATS" within the "OOT HOT Dress" directory.
When applying, please make sure the correct figures are selected.

Where in the world do these files go in My DAZ3D Library? I have no Idea Does anybody have any idea you will solve a big mystery.

Whew!! Thank you very much if you can solve this one

You want to merge the Data, People, and Runtime folders with the folders of the same names in your content folder (e.g. My Library).

Incidentally, since you're looking to spend money getting yourself sett up, you should really consider joining the Platinum Club. You get some really deep discounts on older products (hundreds of them at $1.99 each), good discounts on new ones, as well as free discount vouchers that you can spend each month. It pays for itself in no time flat. You often get preferential rates on sales too (though not, sadly, the current one).

On the subject of sales, be prepared to play a long game and wait for things which you want to go on sale. I rarely buy anything at less than 50% off full price these days. Use your wishlist to keep track of products you're interested in.

THIS HAS TO DO ONLY WITH THE VICTORIA 4.2

With all the other people or characters gen, gen 2 male and female they come with the model plain...we add everything including morphs of the body...

This Vic 2 comes with a blue top and bottom...it is not a plain form...when you with the morph +2 it morphs with this blue bottom and top over the morph...and all the wardrobe I add is over the top of this...

Is there any way to shape this vic 2 starting with the plain form like the rest of the characters

Hope this makes sense THIS HAS TO DO ONLY WITH THE VICTORIA 4.2

    thanks

As Chohole started to say, the base V4 comes with a set of relatively low resolution textures, the default one has the bikini (when you have clothes painted on the skin, you call the situation a second skin), but there is also a nude version. You can buy or download for free quite a lot of skins - your DMR Alahna will work since, I understand, you have both V4 and V4 Morphs++ now.

When installing things not made for DS, but for Poser, you will find a big folder called Runtime. You need to merge it with the same folder you find inside your directory (or directories if you prefer easier finding of content). Then, when in DS, you need to choose the folders labelled "Poser formats". A drop-down folder tree will appear and now you can access your stuff.

Don't be frustrated, mate, a rule of thumb says: when using DS, forget anything that says "PoserCF". Those zips contain files only Poser needs (they add DSON support, but that's another story you don't need now).

Chris is right, the PC+ items are often little gems. You must consider, however, whether you need to take exchange rates into account. In countries outside the USA, it gets trickier. You can read about PC+ here: http://www.daz3d.com/platinum-club.

If it isn't in DIM then go to your product library and download it.

Poser Formats>Folder you installed to>Pose>DMR Alahna in the Content Library

It will be in Content Library > Poser Formats > [content folder name] > Pose > DMR Alahna
You can also get to it via Content Library > Products > D > DMR Alahna

One thing you'll frequently find with older items is that materials show up in Poser Formats under Pose -- that was originally a kludge to use the pose (.pz2) format to apply materials and morphs as well as poses, and you'll see it a lot.

Also note that this product doesn't have materials optimized for DAZ Studio. There's a good tutorial here on adjusting the Poser material settings to look good in DS: http://homepage.eircom.net/~neilvpose/tutorial-1.htm
