i'se trying to set up this dude https://www.daz3d.com/atticus-for-gianni-6 for a nude render.

using the hairy tattoo body.
applied the base gens

there's a gens shader for hairy with tattoo.

when i apply it to g2m it doesn't seem to change anything.
when i apply it to the g2m gens, the hip material goes blacked out.

am i suppose to apply it gianni's body?
just his hip?
or the gens?

do i need a gianni gens or is it g2m base gens?

thanks :)

    Should be a case of applying it directly to the G2M gens. There should be a specific preset for the gens which is separate to the one for the main body. If you're applying the body preset you won't get the desired effect since it's lacking a few material zones.

    I apologize if I'm misunderstanding the questions, but... If it just says "Genitals" in the thumbnail, it's for his toast. If it says "Hip" in the thumbnail, it applies to G2M (not the toast). I just tried it and it's not giving me any problems. The hip MATs are generally just blending mats so the difference can be quite subtle. What are you expecting to happen when you apply them?

    thanks :)

    was expecting to see more hair under the navel to lead all the way to gens/toastville.
