I suppose these official teasers are designed to generate interest. But they end up just generating wild speculation and unfulfilled wish-lists. I've seen more threads closed down due to "speculation" than I've had hot dinners. "Unfortunately this thread has drifted into unsupported speculation so it has been closed.", but here we have one that does just that. I'd much prefer they just dump it on us and say "here it is folks".
that is only a created problem, personally I have no issues with people making suggestions or speculating but it is not my forum
I certainly don't see speculation as a reason to close a thread. I have more of a problem with setting expectations that fall far short of anyone's wishlist.
I said elswhere earlier this year they could include a way to utilise our GPUs to Cryptomine to add to their NFT Blockchain when not rendering in return for perks
I was making a bad joke but there are MMO games that actually do this
if they do, I hope the shop door doesn't swing and hit my butt too hard when I run out after doing my best Karen.

Ghost Lights may not be seen as a bug (by the Iray developers) since they were non-physical. On the other hand, so are Section palnes and we have those so we can hope that they can be persuaded to enable Ghost Lights or something similar.
I thought companies had learned by now to NEVER make major updates/releases just before holidays, when support/tech personell that will be needed to fix every bug and error the public finds are away.
As the saying goes: "No software has ever survived first contact with its end users"
Well, it won't be an issue as everyone always backs up their sh**.

Which stands to reason with every piece of software out there. I back everything up before doing updates to anything. That includes all app folders and installers. So I have almost every version of DS on my desktop or disks backed up, as well as all my content. I did lose a lot of stuff at one point cause my backup drive puked on me. Now I have a HD dedicated to an image and another for physical backups. Everyone needs to put backing up into their regular routine.

Of all the things mentioned, I think this one is most likely to actually happen.

I'd be right behind you. LOL
probably a James Thornton morph for all Genesis versions

Do we finally get that "Make Art" button?
Hexagon 3 and a new bridge?
Shader Mixer/Builder update?
The new image when you start DazStudio. This is what you can confidently expect
Will it fix the issues in the current beta?
There's a ton of open and unsolved issues in the current beta thread.
Have you submitted tickets for these issues? You need to if not please. Provide everything relavent along with screenshots.

They already been reported in the beta thread by many of us.
They still should be formally reported, through tickets.
