Installation Paths

This is a rant so I'm not expecting feedback or counter opinions or posts telling me I should switch software. I just bought a product here that has a Poser compatible part to it. I tried installing thru the Manager thinking that it would install to the proper runtimes. I dont understand this need to install everything to a "Content" folder. Especially if it is Poser content. I later downloaded the manual zip files and still there is this "Content" path. I like all of my content to be in one Runtime folder and I have a lot of stuff so I'm not of a mindset to transfer everything to a "Content" folder. Just frustrating to unzip Poser items to a dummy folder so that I can later copy it to my main Runtime folder. Is it wrong of me to think that Poser content will be in the correct paths to use in my program of choice?

The folder "Content" inside the zips is just shorthand for "the content is in this folder". DAZ Install Manager installs what's inside that folder. If you install manually, you only want to install what's inside that folder, not the folder named "Content" itself.

If you do have a folder named content that isn't in your intended path when using DIM that would be a bug (in the content package) and should be reported.
