Seems like the figure you loaded is not in the proper location. I would try to load some other figures, also not DAZ figures to pinpoint issue.

HeadShop is 50% off now. Are there any updates on how well it works? There doesn't seem to be a lot of talk about this item.
Can anyone explain how the dots on the face actually work in this? there really is nothing explaining what these are even for or what they are supposed to do when it comes to having to adjust them. Its like like; "here are the dots....move them as you want." but what are they even meant for or supposed to do exactly??????? why are they different colors? can anyone please give a simple basic tutorial on these dots as I have no clue what to do with them or how they even work but I just assume you are supposed to move them all somehow and they make the face the right size on how you want it on your daz character or something. Help please.
Hi Toobis,
There are some video tutorials on YouTube. You can move the dots and see what happens in the other window. You are basically adjusting the shape or the texture to the model
Maybe it's just me but I don't think anything coming out of these programs looks anything like the faces they're supposed to be replicating. The only 3D characters instantly recognisable have been morphed ones like Jean Reno or Bruce Willis and even those have been caricatures rather then real-life look-alikes. The thing is that the human eye/brain is finely tuned to picking up on inperceptable details that can't presently be reproduced by just plonking textures and rearranging a few facial features on a base model.
But all is not lost. All you have to do is spend years learning to model in ZBrush, make your own textures, bumps, normals, speculars, displacements and Bob's your uncle. How hard can it be?
I think its ok but nothing outstanding although it is greatly over priced. I think something like 40 or even 30 dollars would suffice for the program rather than 100.
I get exactly the same errors with Mac 9.2. I obviously don't have Windows Update nor can I find anything equivalent to 'Frame dot net'.
Well, I have 30 days to fix this I guess.
Does anyone have 9.2 Mac running on DAZ 4.9, El Capitan?
Well, it looks like the mono framework has done the right thing and moved its install path from /usr/bin (no software should EVER use that) to /usr/local/bin. This plugin however uses the post install script to symlink the corrected path to the old one that should not be used. El Capitan won't stand for that. Of course, you can disable System Integrity Protection to symlink mono but I'd rather not. I'm not that happy about having mono on my system in the first place but that I can live with. But software using /usr/bin? I'm very unlikely to accept that. The Headshop plugin needs to be updated to use /usr/local/bin/mono rather than /usr/bin/mono if that's what's going on. Is this a possiblity?
Update: I disabled SIP to see if the symlink in /usr/bin would solve the problem and it did. That's the only workaround until an update is made to use mono from /usr/local. If you do this don't skip turning SIP back on after running post-install. I've read posts by devs saying that as devs they need to turn it off. I disagree, I'm a dev and I want it on. I want to know what software is doing questionable things and I don't want to allow those things to happen unchecked.
I am having the same problem. The Headshop installation asks to either remove files from the temp drive related to the prior installed Faceshop or abort the Headshop installation. Please PM me AbaloneLLC
