Genesis Blowout Sale?

65% discount on all Genesis products... last time I saw a similar sale was for Gen4 and with the rumours that DAZ themself would not be producing content for Gen 4 anymore...

So is the Genesis figure going to be mothballed by DAZ now?

    V4 is still around and content is still being produced for her and sold by some PAs at DAZ 3D.

    Let's not despair. There were such sales before (usually before a new major shape was released). Instead of feeling blue, stack on the stuff - it is an excellent selection. Even if you have everything from there - doubtful, too many items - check your favourite vendors, morph resource kits... Remember many sets have both Generation 4 and Genesis versions, so they are covered by the sale. The same with Genesis and Generation 6.

    Maybe someone could answer my question here? Is A5 really worth it? I like the shape but it doesn't appear that there is too much done for/ with her. ( I could just be overlooking tons of products, because the search function sucks.) or is it just worth it so I can have it in the gene pool? Also I've been away from daz for a long time or there any figures ( female) that are a must have? What are you're suggestions.

    I have a similar question. I'm interested in the Aging HD Morphs, but only if I can use them on Genesis 2. Will Genesis morphs work on Genesis 2?

    I have GenX2 and the Genesis figure, would I need to transfer them? Do HD Morphs work in GenX2?

    A5 is worth having even if you wanted to use just the following characters:

    Besides, A5 is very good for adding percentages of her dials to other morphs. At 66% off, I'd not think too much. Even getting a bundle seems worthwhile. Unless you are into anime skimpwear, get the starter though, it includes A5, a sweet hairstyle by Valea, Azumi, nice poses. The clothes are rather impractical, but for less than $18, this pack is well worth itself even with two things you probably won't use. Osaka Hair will be a less often used because of its specific style, but it's alright too.

    As for Genesis on Gen2F or Gen2M, yes, GenX2 (with Genesis 2 Addon) is needed to use morphs. Refer to the thread about GenX2 for more information.

    Just to state what i think is the obvious….a morph for genesis won't work on genesis2 figures? So the old-age morph set would only work on genesis faces?

    Before you transfer them via GenX2, no.

    Nope, they are for Genesis1 only and cannot be transferred. It is why I made different versions.

    I guess when they said the sale lasts today…they just meant til closing time. I don't see the sale prices anymore.

    Me either - Not on the sale page or on the product pages. But they do seem to be correct in my cart. Weird... :-/

    I dumped poor Genesis when G2 came along despite having so much Genesis content in my Runtime. However, this Genesis 'Blowout' sale has been great and made me look again at how good the Genesis character is.

    I was delighted to see so many Genesis items on sale. Wish I had more money to spend. I am nowhere near through playing with Genesis. So many renders I want to do.

    I don't use the Genesis figure anymore, but I usually have little to no problem using Genesis clothing and hair on my G2 figures, so I buy up lots of stuff during these kind of sales.

    I had the opposite. Sale Price on the product page but it disappeared from my cart. Tried for 45 minutes to get the sale price to show up in my cart again. Never did and now the sale price doesn't show up on the product pages either. Grrr. I guess I missed that sale.

    I feel like the Gensis blowout sale was a gift from Daz right to me! Lol I had so much of the stuff that went on sale saved in my wishlist. I just happened to come to the shop yesterday and see the sale and I racked up. Bought over $400 worth of content for around $160. Thank you DAZ!
