Hi Everyone,

I am currently working on 3 computers and I have a poser scene. The scene includes content I've bought on Daz3D, content I've bought/downloaded from other places, .obj files from other places .etc and they're all scattered around my computer in about 50 different locations.

I need to transfer the poser scene onto my other computer, is there a way to transfer an entire scene with all the objects and textures .etc between the two computers?

Thanks for your help as always!

Nathan

AFAIK you need to have all the content on both computers as well, as Poser scenes don't store the content, only the reference to load the content.

In poser this should not be too difficult. The poser scene file itself contains all of the content that it used from the libraries folder under runtime, the issue is then to collect the textures and geometry files (ie the obj files) referenced within the saved scene. As it happens there is a script in poser to do this, that will copy the resources needed to a folder, which you can then install on the other computer (provided of course you are not providing licensed content to a third party). Here is a link describing how to use the script:
