DSON Importer issues

I recently rebuilt my main PC and as a result had to reinstall everything. I downloaded the latest versions of DS and DSon and installed them. Now when I try to use Dson imported figures in Poser Game Dev 2014 I have issues with it. What happens is when I load a figure via the dson importer it kills my poser library. Everything freezes and the library is no longer accessible after the first item is loaded. Poser continues to function normally. Closing and reopening the library has no effect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times. There can be no old installations that are conflicting since this is a brand new hard drive with a fresh install of everything. Can anyone help?

Worth mentioning, the main drive is an SSD drive and since it is only 500gbs I have installed my ds content on a secondary internal drive in order to not take up space on the SSD. This is how I have always had it installed and never had any problems before now. Also If I install dson to poser pro 2012 instead it gives me this error

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Program Files\Smith Micro\Poser Pro 2012\Runtime\Python\poserScripts\ScriptsMenu\DSON Support\Importer Preferences....py", line 2, in
import dson;
ImportError: No module named dson

Computer specs

I7 4990
16gbs Ram
Geforce 760 GTX 4gb Video card
500 gb SSD Main drive
1tb SATA data drive.

any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks :)

    Some people have this issue -- either use a floating rather than docked library, or turn off the Progress Bar in the DSON options.

    Thank you so much! I was losing my mind over this. Turing off the progress bar seems to have solved the problem.

    Thank you also jaxprog for the suggestion :) So glad its working I was ready to throw the computer out the window
