Loving Dry Mud Desert (and Abandoned Factory as well) . So many possibilities with this environment. However I have an issue I can not resolve. The basic scene loads fine. When I try to add a different sky or load the dust haze materials I am greeted with the the following message "An error occurred while reading the file. See the log file for more details". This message is preceded by another message but it only flashes on the screen for a split second. Much too fast to read. below is a cut and paste of my log file.
Load error dust haze

I have reinstalled both Dry Mud Desert and Studio (Version 4.7.0.12). No luck. Then did a manual install of Dry Mud Desert with the .zip file from DAZ website. Still no joy. if it is of any help my system:
Homebrew AMD 3.2 mHz cpu w/6 cores. 16 GB system mem. Two year old GeForce GTS 250. Not a high performance card but useable.
I'm fairly able to sort basic issues but this one has me stumped. Could by my system. I just can not put my finger on it. I am using Dry Mud Desert in just the default state and enjoying it very much. But i want to make full use of this great package.
Please pardon the long post. i just want to include what information I thought helpful. Any advice woul be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

I'm afraid I don't have a solution, but I would recommend you changing your subject line. Right now it says "An issue I have been able to resolve."
I would change "able" to "unable" but also maybe to something like "Problem changing materials: Load Error"...something more descriptive so that folks who've had similar issues will take a look at the thread rather than just bored folks looking for something to read :D
That message, which shows no explanation in the error log, may indicate nothing in the Scene tab was selected when a material preset is applied.
The Product Documentation for the Dry Mud Desert explains how to apply the sky and haze material presets in the Additional Details section.
Thanks to both of you for the assistance. Well, this will teach me to preview the title of my posts as well as the body of the text. Thanks for pointing that out. As far as not having anything selected is something that had not occurred to me. I will try that when I return to my computer. A very basic mistake on my part. Kind of like omitting a key word in a post title. Hah.
Thanks again.
Cheers.
