Truancy Hoodie gaposis

I'm having a problem with the Truancy Hoodie . When the character's arms are posed, there is a gap between the hood and the body of the garment.

The gap happens with G2M, M6, and Jayden 6, all of which are supposedly supported with morphs in the product. So it looks like a bug in the product. I don't see the problem in the promo images, though, so maybe it is something with my setup.

Just load G2M or M6 or Jayden 6, fit the hoodie to him, and pose the arms down. I first noticed it when I applied a pose from one of the commercial pose sets. Then I went back and just used Pose Controls to set Arms Up-Down. As soon as a pose moves the arms down, the gap appears. It is made worse by using the Hood Down morph. Do you see that same issue?

Edited to add: Smoothing doesn't fix it either.

I just tried what you did and basically I am seeing the same thing (ie gaps were the hood meets the shoulders), so it is not your set up. The issue is your use of the pose control arm up and down, which I seem to recall works more like a morph than a simple rotation of the affected body parts. I have seen other issues caused by using this control, but often it works just fine. It seems this garment has a problem with it.

I dialled out the arms up-down pose control, and then lowered the figures arms normally by just rotating the arms down, and now there is no gap in the hoddie. See attached pic.

EDIT: Added a hoddie down pic.

That's interesting. Thanks for trying it. Both of your images look good. The problem I have goes beyond just using the pose controls, though. It shows up with the majority of purchased poses that I've tried, too. Even the poses that come with the Teen Jayden 6 character show the problem. These images use Teen Jayden Everyday 15.duf in the Teen Jayden 6 product. I'm not sure how those poses were created. Hood Down really has problems with that pose, and it isn't extreme at all. I've written a support ticket about the problem.

You are correct, I am seeing the same problems, as you said, when the hood is down the issues are even worse.

I think the basic problem is that the hood mesh is not actually attached properly to the rest of the garment, and when it bends the gap becomes visible. I am surprised this was not spotted during QA.

QA misses a lot of simple and obvious errors. Remember the Teen Jayden Everyday 15 pose I randomly selected in the render above? Well I just tried the mirror pose, Teen Jayden Everyday 15_Mirr. It is totally the wrong pose. It looks like it is actually Teen Jayden Everyday 12_Mirr. If QA had even applied each pose in the product and looked at it, they should have caught an error that obvious. So now I have to submit another help request.
