Well, I was looking at Angler Outfit for Genesis 8 by The Alchemist. There were 2 other items associated with Angling akin to "Fly Fishing", a style of fishing: firstly, Fly Fishing Gear and secondly Fly Fishing Poses For Genesis 8 for Genesis 8 Males. Note The original base was "Angler Outfit" not "Fly Fisher Outfit", and the supporting products do not mention "Angler".
Below the product page for "Angler Outfit" there are some small pics under the banner "You May Also Be Interested in These Products, which have nothing to do with fishing, fly fishin, angling. The suggested items were : A thug in a 30s style mug shot
HDRI lighting indoors in a temple
a figure Jagger for M4
Classic Fantasy: Persian Fable for M4
The Freak 4 and M4 Skin Map
and a set of balance scales in a courtroom setting
So, rather than making a sale of truly related items that one might not find easily since one is "Angler" and the others "Fly Fishing" but they are both about fishing, the closest the suggested items come is the "scales" LOL! Is this AI? Because the figures are very old, the outfit is ridiculously not for fishing and for the old figures, not G8, and the HDRI is indoors, where Fly fishing or Angling is simply not done. They require brooks, so a nice brook or lake or river environment would be enticing for adding to the purchase. So what goes on here? I've seen it before but this set seemed especially irrelevant to each other.
I've worked in retail. If a guy wants to buy a sports jacket, but is shown wellington boots, a knitting set, or a 1920s ballgown, it's not going to be successful. He will need a tie, shirt, pants, a belt, some socks, shoes, a watch, maybe a lint brush, right? Build sales on things they might not know they 'need' to complete the look- his size and decade and purpose. I think a database should be able to handle that. Is updating that function likely any time 'soon'? Related items with different names are so frustrating anyway. Link them by true interest "outdoor activities-fishing" Well thanks for listening.

No, this is automated scripting. Why are you assuming there is some human-style intelligence at work choosing what to show you?
Why shouldn't I expect a human intelligence to work at choosing what to show anybody for our hard earned coin? I agree, the degree of irrelevancy seems remarkablly un-human. Seems to be relevancy of one product to a matchin product, perhaps through existing tags, might be relevant, LOL!
Yep, seems hopeless
