Look for the 'New' badge across the upper right frame. That tells you if it's new.That product was released December 27th, so it'll be new until around February 27th.

Still nothing. The blue box is there, I put old non-PC+ items into the cart, it deducts just the $3 from my mail. Can you take a look if it makes sense before I write the mail?

When I put those two items in my shopping cart, I DO see the discount. Are you logged in? You must be logged in so the website knows that you are in the customer group we sent this offer to.
Same items do not work for me as well.. and it's soon getting late here :/
The DAZ people may have checked their rules and say that all is okay, but I am not seeing any 10$ DO discount. In the cart displayed below I have 20$ worth of non-DO items, and the DO item (Cross Figure Resource Kit) is definitely not new, and is a 100% DO (ie no other PA are attached to it), so I would expect a price of 10$ (the other 10$ discount coming from my PC+ membership).
I am seeing the 10$ off banner, so the deal should apply to me.
It ain't working for me either. I tossed Ecomantics [$12.95, not a DO] in my cart, then Quiet Reflection Vignette [$14.95, DO], and only the "$3.00 off $5.00 or more" discount shows up. I should at least be getting $10.00 off this purchase, if not $13.00. I submitted a ticket earlier today.

I'm having a similar problem to many others, and that's a very good question at the end there (that I hope someone from Daz will answer soon). I was planning to get the new school-related release ( http://www.daz3d.com/time-for-school-for-genesis-2-male-s ) to get a related item at a discount ( http://www.daz3d.com/time-for-school-for-genesis-2-female-s ), but maybe they don't qualify? The school boy outfit is marked as new, but the school girl outfit no longer has that tag...but with the discount/offer, it's now less than $10.
I guess the main question is, do the PA (non-PC) items worth $10 or more that we initially try to buy have to be "old" in order to qualify for the $10 of free DO?

I tried that, ie buy an old PA item to get a discount on an old DO item, and that is not working either, at least not for me. My guess is, since some people are seeing the discount and some not, that the rule in the sales system that is failing is the one that determines who is entitled to the 10$ off.
That is the problem with these targeted discounts. I would guess that DAZ would prefer that the people receiving them will quietly take advantage of them, and all are happy. However since half the time they do not work, then threads like this one gets started, which annoys those for whom the discount was meant to apply, and those whom did not receive it in the first place, who are left wondering why they were missed out.
Yep, I just tried something similar. Used Jack Tomlin's Platea: Fallen for my $10 or more purchase and then the Cinematic Poses for DAZ Dragon 3 and it still doesn't work. I sent more mail to the address provided earlier.
...no newsletter here (stayed up last night for it). Only banner is a green one for the Free Dragon Forge W/2$ purchase .
If these offers are supposedly "targeted", doesn't Daz realise by now I'm not into fantasy stuff considering my purchases are mainly contemporary, some Sci Fi and a lot of "Resource" (like lighting, morph, and shader/surfacing) content?
Doesn't work for me either. Neither item has the NEW tag. Neither item is PC+. What else could be wrong?
Can it be that you cannot have a non-Daz Original in the cart? No banner for me. Clearly I am spending too much. ;-)
..ahh maybe that's it, I don't buy much if any fantasy stuff, so they're trying to get me to do so.
Surprised the banner wasn't for skimpwear because I purchase even less of that than fantasy content.
If you no have non-DAZ originals in the cart, it would be difficult to trigger a discount that requires 10$ of non-DAZ originals in the cart!
That's all I got; no $10 off blue banner, no $3off email. I think the free dragon forge was for everybody (i.e. NOT targeted) because it was also a block in the sliding banner.

Just a thought. I've yet to use the $3 Valentines deal which also is applied in the cart as is this one (or is it checkout) could the two conflict rather than stack?

Sorry! I didn't realize that the banner was a "targeted" offer.
As a target, it still isn't working for me and I've tried lots of variations. I wrote to the address that Chohole provided, although as someone else pointed out - it's getting late now.
Oh well, I went ahead with the Valentine offer which combined nicely with Zevo's "share the love"... happy dance.

Won't work for me either. Neither the 3 $ off Valentine, nor the 10$ off a Daz-Original.
I still had the 2 items from screenshot on page 3 in cart and discount applied correct suddenly. Try logging off and on again, but maybe they are going through the list of receivers and add them manually again after they found out what was the reason for the bug ? Dunno.
The coupons do not work if you weren't part of the targeted group. If you got an email then it should work. We are working with DAZ to see whats up.
Huh, they must have not reached my cart yet. Let's wait and hope for a workaround. Even a smaller but safe voucher would do.
correction... the 10$ off worked now (putting something that's not new anymore and a not new Daz Original in the cart - just to clarify what worked for me :) )...

Can you explain please? I think Matching Morphs for MFD would ruin the cart (if it worked in the first place for me). They are new, partially DO, partially PA, PC+... Too bad, I wanted an excuse to get them.
Yeah, the $10 off DOs seems to be working for me now - at least on the items I tried and failed with earlier, which were 1 new PA item and 1 old DO.
(I used the $3 off $5+ earlier today, which worked first time I tried it - I'm sorry for those who still can't get it working, it's frustrating I know)
