Can a default be set for the new Environment tab in 4.7?

Is there a way to set a default on the Environment tab, so it stays as I want it, and doesn't have to be reset for every single new scene?

Having to remember, and most times forgetting, to set the Environment is a new routine hassle, but I haven't seen how to configure it to new default, i.e. not transparent.

    Not as such, I wish there was - you can always make a feature request for that to be added. In the meantime, set up a scene with the options you want (and anything else you want by default, such as lights and cameras) and save it, then in Edit>Preferences set that scene to load on application launch and File>New (in the Startup and Scene tabs - check Load file in Startup and in both click the None button and browse to select your scene).
