Brand name is one thing, but what's important is what's inside the system.

CPU is really important, since denotes how quickly your PC will render. Daz Studio uses 3Delight which doesn't utilize the graphics card, so your CPU will be doing all the hard work. Faster CPU, faster rendering times. It's also worthwhile since it will help in general day-to-day functionality of the system too. If you invest in anything expensive, make sure the CPU is your FIRST consideration.

For reference, I use an Intel i7 processor. It's incredibly fast, but also far more expensive than rival CPUs. Work within your budget, but get the best possible speed for your money. It's really worth spending the extra since most of the other pieces can be upgraded.

RAM is basically how much your PC can 'remember' at a single time. For artists like us, more is better. You want a minimum of 8Gb, but ideally 16 or 32Gb to work with some of the nicer HD morphs.

Now, while 3Delight may not use the graphics card, that doesn't mean it should be ignored completely. Daz Studio uses your graphics card for displaying the previews, so having a decent card will help here. The faster it is and the more memory it has, the smoother Daz Studio will run.

As for Hard drives, well that's entirely up to you. I have 2Tb of storage on my main drive and a further 1Tb on a secondary drive for 3Tb of space (1 Tb is roughly 1000 Gigabytes). It all depends on how much storage you feel you will need. I will say that my current Daz Studio runtime takes up a large amount of space on its own, so its worth investing a little extra here if you can afford it.

You need to find out what the specifications of your current machine are (CPU and RAM in particular - just giving the model number might allow it to be looked up), then people will be better placed to say what sort of system might be a worthwhile improvement - giving a rough idea of your budget would also be a good idea.
