Reduced Font-Size in Parenthetical Expressions

I notice that the style used at DAZ3D forums reduces the font-size of comments made within parenthetical expressions. I would like to express my displeasure. It is bluntly impossible to "whisper"  or lower your voice in print. And to us of a certain age, those comments are difficult to read. What can I say to persuade the stylists to please stop doing that? (Please!)
