M4 items not installing/loading

Alright, I'm getting real tired of this. A few weeks ago I purchased the Michael 4 base and a few items for it. I installed it just like anything else I've installed (that currently work) in the Install manager. I can load the M4 base just fine, but I can't do anything with it. None of the items I purchased for it works. The items show up in the content files, but I can't load them! I even got the M4 for G2M, but that doesn't work either. I've tried reinstalling everything, reinstalling just the items, compatibility issue fixes, even rearranging files in the directory. Absolutely nothing has worked!

Has anyone else had this problem? And if so, any fixes that worked, preferably were I can start from scratch?

I'm running windows 8, with the current version of DAZ Studio.

From where are you loading the items?
In the content library, there's a DAZ and a Poser content folder. Normally, M4 content (the actual mesh file) is in the Poser content folder, and what you see in DAZ content is mostly textures that can be applied to the content.

Are the items that don't work morphs, or clothing?
Are you sure you're loading the clothing (will usually appear in Content Library > Poser Formats > [content folder name] > Figures) and not the materials for the clothing (Poser Formats > Materials. Poser Formats > Pose, or a .ds/.dsa/.dsb file)?

Problem solved. Damn computer had the clothing files marked as hidden because of some messed up settings. I tried the poser folder earlier and nothing, but it's there now. Thanks. Maybe someone else will find this useful.
