Does Spring Dynamics still work? (yeah still works)

Every time I try applying this script to an object, it seems to apply, but then the Exit button becomes grayed out and I cannot accept the results; I need to use the top X button to close the window in order to get Studio to respond again and the effect of the script are not applied. Am I doing something wrong or does this product need to be updated? Thanks.

Have you checked the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File) just after trying to use the script?
You ddidn't mention what version of DS you are tring to use it in. Should we assume 4.15.0.30?
4.15.02. I think this might be the version that was the latest when this product was released.
Richard: I haven't checked that (I don't think I've ever done that to be honest). Would just like to know if it's working for anyone else before I go digging too deep.
Haha, all posted fonts at DAZ forums are white on white. :Eyeroll: So made this a different color.
Hi Snow, latest beta 4.15.0.30 works with this script. 4.12.0.68 does not. Muy Importante: go into hip bone hierarchy (Never start script from the base node selected, ie figure) and select one or more bones (Ctrl is your friend). Then open script and run it on your timeline. Ya need bones or it won't really work. If you can make new bones, you may like more. (I did).
PS. Don't know whether to be happy or sad that the usefulness of this script, which is important physics, is so unknown, or whatevs you want to describe it as.
PS2. Diva made the 1st thread on this, when it came out, and she seemed to disappear, more or less. Shoulda maybe supported her thread, but i tended to buy a tut when i need advanced info. Pretty much past that now, thank goodness.
Sorry for the late response, I've been sick. OK I did a little more testing and it does seem to be working with my version, but I guess I was under the impression that it would allow 'rebounding' after movement, even with objects with no bones. There are WAY too many plugins, scripts, and addons that give practically no detailed information about how to use them or sometimes even what they can do. I didn't think it would be so difficult to find a 3D equivalent of After Effects' Easy In/Easy Out, but here we are.
Thanks for the help and suggestions.
The effect is significant. Like big and zero doubt about the effect. Suggestion: First, Do tests with and without spring dynamics ie. before and after. "Seem" will be replaced with "oh heck yeah, it works." (Though for skinned bones only).
Guess, waiting for someone who likes to share their physics stuff, and more importantly, their time for free. Will need the right person who sees a reason to do that, which is another discussion.
I posted this about bones being key, cos no one else would, and you post some interesting questions. Good luck.
It does have an effect, yes, but apparently not what I want. That isn't the fault of the script, but it's not solving my problem.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic here, but neither could Facebook and Twitter when I was temporarily suspended for being sarcastic, so whatever. Thanks for your help.
Maybe, you may have to add bones to get the effect you want? Your original word "seem" seemed inconclusive. Post the plan if you want and I'll comment if you want. If not, get that too.
About sarcasm, sorry, am in business mode. Wasn't meant as sarcasm at all. Just an observation about physics people here at DAZ forums or instructional vids (or lack thereof).
Glad if it helped you in any way.
