New check-out interface
in The Commons
If it's not a bug on my end, but an intentional built-in "new" feature of the store, then I don't like the fact that the products in the cart np longer have a linktothe product. I like to give everything one last check before I buy. Can't do that now anymore. Generally, I would advise adding features for customers, not taking them away and causing inconveniences thereby.

It works here when clicking either product name or image.
no love here ....so it must be something about the browser on my end... I can fav the product, drop it from the cart or add the interactive license ... I can alsoport myself to the payment window, but clicking the product name orimage does nada.
Mine changed too in this way. It will definitely affect my shopping habits because I always go back and forth between products, dropping and swapping out. If I can't do that, then I'm not going to bother with sales unless they're straightforward like today's. Poor Chihuahuas gotta sit in the cart and if I forget, they go back into the wishlist.
I tested the new Daz shopping CART on Windows 10... In both the Chrome browser and Firefox browser, I get the hyperlinks on the Cart products, but in Windows Edge browser there are no active hyperlinks in the Cart. Hopefully the Daz web team will get this fixed in Edge.
Looks like you're on a mobile device. If you want DAZ3D to be aware of and do something about it, device and browser information is necessary.
Laptop on Chrome I am still getting a link from the checkout cart on items.
I'm using Firefox on a mac ... and it seems that where there were no issues before ...there are issues now , not just with me ...
Do bear in mind that Daz is doing some testing of new features, so we may not all get the same pages and soemthing that is working for one may be missing or working in a differnt way for another.
I don't see any location to enter a coupon code :( So how can we do now ?
Ah nevermind, the form appears after validating :)
If they've got any way for the users to be able to tell which version they're getting, that might help as well to troubleshoot and give an idea of whether something is a feature or a bug.
This shouldn't be a problem, we're looking into this for Mac Firefox.
Can you describe any issues you are having?
His description of the problem is in the first post of this thread.
He says "issues", so I'm trying to get to the bottom of anything besides links not appearing.
As Barbult said, the "issues" refers to what I had written in post nr.1 and then detailed more in post nr.3: (1) no link from the pictures (2) no link from the product name. Hope that helps.
Submit a bug report to Tech Support please if you haven't already.
testing.
I'm on Chrome on Windows and I don't get links in the "new" shopping cart for items in the cart.
Also, the new sales page interface that rolled out a few months really blows with the the way that it doesn't track what page you're on, so if you click on a product to go to the page and then try to go back to the main listing, you start back at page 1. Forcing the shopper to manually right click and open link in a new tab is a massive pain. If you're not going to track what page we're on for shopping, at least do the courtesy that Rendo does and have the item automatically open up in a new tab when you click the product
Odd. I am using an up-to-date version of Chrome ( Version 93.0.4577.63) on Windows 10 and I still get the links.
...at least it's not happening in the middle of the PC+ sale this time.
...yeah I used that a lot, particularly to skip past all the G8/8.1 stuff.
I just noticed shopping cart product links are working now hovering the pointer over product thumbnail or product name.
Hovering over the product name underscore lines appear too.
Windows 8.1, Chrome 93.0.4577.63
..actually, I like it, looks nice and clean.
As to selecting pages to jump to, what about an option to enter the desired page number (I think I mentioned this on another thread). A couple sites like CGTrader and Turbosquid have it.
...well a little different actually purchasing things. Entering one's card number auto selects the card, which is nice, but I kind of liked the old way of entering the expiration date (prone to typos here, and got a few error messages when I tried to check out until I saw the typo in the date). Seems the nickname thingy for saving a card number is finally gone though which is an improvement (thought it was ridiculous).
I don't see any difference at all, neither in looks or functionality. Windows 8.1, Firefox 91.0.2.
