Changing the Geometry on Geographted Figures

I am wondering if any one knows how to change or edit the Geometry of Geographted Figures.

I have some Geographted Figures that have extra regions. I know how to edit them in the Geometry Editing Tool in Studio but many times after I do so I lose the Geographted elements of the figure.

Is there a way to get it back?
