Rig in T pose and mesh in A pose after import

August 2021 in Maya Discussion

I am using the latest daz version and I am trying to export a character to maya and I am using the daz to maya 1.8 plugin. no matter which model I choose and what export settings I use I always get the same result in maya:

Has anyone an idea what the problem could be? I tried reinstalling both maya and daz but it doesn't seem to fix it. also tried using maya 2020 but also doesn't help.

If anyone can help or has an idea, thanks in advance.

Same problem here, manually correcting the rig does not help.

This seems to be somehow related to including morphs that aren't supported. I got this when I included a few Genesis 8 morphs on a Genesis 8.1 figure, but it went away when i made sure that my morphs were 100% meant for my figure.

I would go back through your morphs and only include ones that you plan to manipulate in Maya

    Hi guys

Try it and return to write here if work: on DAZ Studio, re-scale your model to 100% - use bridge.

Waiting your answer here (this method work for me)
