Finding my HDRI content
I have purchased a lot of HDRI envirnment content and while some like creators like Dreamlight tend to label such content with HDRI somewhere in the title, sadly many do not.
Trying to find said content is proving a challenge as with all these sales I purchased a lot and finding it at all let alone specific items is proving to be a headache.
Is there a common area that HDRI content could be accessed or have creaters just set their instalations randomly?

Often it goes to Light Presets in your library. Sometimes with a product name, sometimes under the vendor's name. If you can't find it there, but you installed it via DIM you can find the istalling path: open DIM, click the "Installed" tab, find the product, click the little i in the circle. That will you bring to the product page where you will find some additional informations and the install path as well. Good luck!
I find most of mine under Render Settings.
Hmm many are in the Light Presets but not all it seems.
I guess its a bit late for Daz to specify a folder for the HDRI content.
I do manual downloads which gives me a little flexibility about this. I put all HDRI's and EXR's into a single directory and create a jpg preview image of the same name so that when loading the HDRI manually into the Environment 'Dome Image' section I can get a preview of HDRI I'm loading in the Open Dialogue box. Gimp can create the .jpg previews.

95% of the time they'll show up under Light Presets, Environments or one of the sub-folders under Presets, but it's not even consistent within some individual PAs. Fortunately, if you download with DIM, you can click on the entry there and use the Show Installed Files function to locate them.
Thats all fine and dandy if I know what the HDRI items are all called but I dont which means I have stuff but how do I find it if I dont even know what its called.
Daz need to add some value by sorting their crap so their customers can find what they need and not just HDRIs.
It's a sloppily designed systen, for sure, but I have the largest set of runtimes that I know of (currently a little over 778 pages of forty purchased products per page in my accounts Product Library section) and using DIM is the most efficient system that I've found for locating where each of those 31,000+ products from DAZ are installed... though obviously it's not going to track any products that were bought at another store. If you're not sure what you have or what the name of the product is, then opening a section of the store in the appropriate category in the actual store and selecting "Only show owned product" will display most of what you have, unless it's a product that isn't in the store anymore.
1. Download and install manually. Unzip to dummy folder so you can see where product items go and what they are called. Cut and paste to your runtime and rename folders to whatever the heck you want so you'll remember them (obviously not the data, or texture folders..or geometries if it's an old product)
2. Download and install via DIM. Once installed, right click on product name and choose 'see installed files' (or whatever it says). It shows you exactly what has been installed, exactly what it's called and exactly where they are installed. And if you don't like the product folder called 'Green Bacgrounds for Lighting and Stuff', rename it to whatever you want.
3. Download and install via Smart Content. Once installed, click on product and look to the side where it shows the categories of each item and what they've been installed under. Or look in Lost and Found cos Smart Content has a lot of those. Or give up on Smart Content cos it's usually got incorrect metadata and is a mess.
Any one of those methods will show you where things were installed, and what they are named.
There's no real consistency to folder names etc in DS and there probably never will be, as errors have been around for a long time and they're not getting better. There's 'Environment' and 'Environments'; there's 'Textures' and 'Texture'; there's dissent between 'Environment' and 'Props'', and 'Light Presets' and 'Render Settings' and 'Lights'. I gave up long ago and just put stuff exactly where I want now.
Whilst by no means a foolproof method the only way I can think of to find HDRI products you can't remember the name of is to search the DAZ store for 'HDRI'. This will bring up 11 pages (at 40 per page) of products. Make sure 'Hide Items I Own' is unchecked and look through for products with the little blue cloud with an arrow on it icon (as opposed to green square with a cart on it). These are the ones you own.
As I said it's not foolproof, and I'm guessing there will be some missing, but DAZ's recent updates to the store search at least gives you a fighting chance now. For example it does find products like Golden Glow Light Set and ElianeCK Joy Iray light from searching in the description.
